North Carolina Transportation Museum excursion train to Charleston, S.C.

North Carolina Transportation Museum excursion May 17-19.

The Watauga Valley Railroad Historical Society & Museum and the North Carolina Transportation Museum Foundation will sponsor the “Lowcountry Limited” excursion train between Spencer and Charleston, S.C. The train will operate on May 17-18-19.

The trip will depart Spencer at 8:00 a.m. on May 17, arriving in North Charleston at 3:30 p.m. with bus service to Charleston hotels. Several tours of historic Charleston will be offered on May 18.

The North Carolina Transportation Museum excursion train will depart for the return to Spencer on May 19 at 9 a.m., arriving back in Spencer at 5 p.m.
