Southern 630 to run steam specials this fall

The newly restored Southern Railway 2-8-0 No. 630. will be operating steam excursion trains this fall at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum.  The Southern 630 Summerville Steam Special and Autumn Leaf Specials will operate from Grand Junction Station in Chattanooga to Summerville, Ga., traveling past Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park and through Chickamauga, Rock Spring, LaFayette, and Trion.

Trips will operate Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29, and Nov. 5, departing at 9 a.m. each day. The cost is $70 without lunch; $90 with lunch, or $105 for Pullman Section seating with lunch.
