Colorado Railroad Museum Wine & Music Train

Lose track of time while sampling all things Colorado… Colorado wines, music and Colorado’s railroad legacy. Enjoy the gentle rock of the rails as you ride behind the historic No. 346 locomotive in one of our classic passenger cars, while sampling a variety of Colorado wines. The wine tasting is from 11am-5pm for an additional $5 for adults 21 and up.

You’ll enjoy music performed throughout the day by SCFD funded organizations: Swallow Hill Music Association, Colorado Wind Ensemble, Augustana Arts, Mizel Museum, Evergreen Chorale, and the Colorado Railroad Museum.  You’ll hear jazz, classical, bluegrass, ethnic and show tunes under the pavilion tent.

You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction of fine art to railroadiana from 11:00 – 2:00

Live music from Colorado Musicians provides the background as you stroll the grounds featuring our vintage locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars, cabooses and the roundhouse area, that  includes a fascinating display of locomotives and cars on the roundhouse ”radial” tracks, as well as a fully functioning 90-foot, “Armstrong” turntable.
